School Laptop

We will distribute school laptops the during the first 2 weeks of school. 
Students/Parents/guardians are required complete the HISD Student Device Loan Agreement.

Students who have not returned the laptop from the 2024-2025 school year will not receive a new laptop until the old laptop is returned and processed for damages/updates.  This may take between 5 - 7 days due to the fact that we will be busy assisting all students at the beginning of the year.

Stolen/Lost/Damaged Laptops 
If the laptop is stolen or missing the student needs to report the laptop missing to the Chavez Help Desk office located in room F100 within 24 hours.

Parents/guardians accept financial responsibility for cost related for replacement of a lost or stolen device or accessories, or for damage due to purposeful action or gross negligence. The district will proceed with legal action, should financial obligation be ignored.
