Cell Phone Policy

To ensure a safe, respectful, and academically focused school environment, the use of cell phones and similar electronic devices, (cell phones, smart watch, tablets, or any other electronic device capable of digital communication ) is prohibited during a school day at HISD campus.

Students may not:

• Use cell phones for any reason (calls, text, photos, social media, etc.)
• Display or visibly carry cell phones
• Use smart watches or wearable communication devices
• Have phones visible at any time from arrival to dismissal.  This include passing periods and lunch.
